One of the most anticipated events in Denver is Restaurant Week. For more than 10 days, restaurants from around the city participate in providing special menus for diners at a fixed price. Denver Restaurant Week provides the opportunity for chefs to showcase their specialties to more people, and it allows diners to check out establishments they may otherwise not visit.
Because of the variety of restaurants that participate in the event, people can find cuisines of all kinds. One of these is Indian, and Little India is one of the dining establishments that is taking part in the event. Restaurant Week gives diners the opportunity to try a variety of items at our family-owned restaurant that has been voted ‘Best Indian Restaurant’ and ‘Best Lunch Buffet’ for 16 straight years. Our multi-course menu is a great deal and gives new and returning guests the chance to try new things.
Restaurant Week Details
This year, the event takes place from February 21st to March 1st. Restaurants that want to be involved in Restaurant Week put together a multi-course meal made up of some of their most popular and favorite dishes. Depending on the specific restaurant, the fixed price of this meal is $25, $35 or $45 per person. These great values allow customers to try new spots, whether it is a new cuisine or a restaurant in a different neighborhood.
While taking part in Restaurant Week is a stand-alone event for many people, it can, and should, also be a part of a big night out. Whether celebrating a birthday, an anniversary or the end of the week, make sure that visiting Little India during Restaurant Week is part of the plan. The intimate restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the dining experience is enhanced by Indian art, music and friendly staff.
Little India is a Denver Staple
Our Indian restaurant is the perfect example of a dining establishment you should visit during Denver Restaurant Week. Not everyone has tried Indian cuisine, so this event is an excellent time to check us out and find out why we are a favorite in the area. Our chefs use only fresh ingredients and spices, and all our bread is prepared in authentic clay ovens.
Little India has two locations. The original one is off 6th Avenue, and there is also one located at South Downing. We are a family-owned business and have been serving authentic Indian food in the area for over 20 years. Restaurant Week is a good time for both regular and new clients to discover the wide variety of options our restaurant offers. There are numerous choices for both vegetarians and meat lovers, and a great way to experience a meal is family-style so that everyone can try different dishes.

For those in the know, it is highly recommended to order a side of mango chutney or raita to help balance the flavors of the meal. How to Make the Most of Denver Restaurant Week
Savvy diners know that in order to make the most of this popular event, it is best to follow certain tips. If this is your first year participating in Restaurant Week, follow these guidelines to look like a pro.
- Check out the menus ahead of time – Weeks before the event starts, restaurants post their Restaurant Week menus online. Unlike at many other participating restaurants, at Little India, we do not limit dining choices to only two appetizers and three entrees because we want diners to have access to our regular menu. Our menu is vast, so save some time by checking out our menu online to help narrow down your choices. This helps you plan, and it prepares your taste buds for a great meal.
- Invite friends – Everyone looks forward to Restaurant Week, and dining out at different places becomes an entertaining event. Invite friends or family to join you, especially if they have not had the opportunity to participate in this event before. Introduce them to Little India and show them why we are consistently voted as the best Indian restaurant in Denver.
- Reserve your spot – Denver Restaurant Week is not the time to fly by the seat of your pants. Reservation spots fill up quickly, especially during the prime dinner hours. Plan well in advance and go online or call our restaurant to save a table. Make sure to confirm how many will be in the party, as it is usually impossible to change last minute. Be flexible, as finding an available spot at an early or later time, or on a weekday is easier than over a weekend. Also, be considerate of other guests. If you are not going to make it to your reservation, make sure and cancel it as soon as possible to make room for someone else.
- Participate in more than one night – We price our Restaurant Week menu so more people can experience our food, and at $25 a person, you are getting a great deal. Since the event goes on for 10 days, it allows for more than one dining experience at our restaurant or one of the other participating dining establishments.
